"The world is indeed full or peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater"

– J.R.R Tolkein

It is good that you exist. You don't have to and yet here you are and have been placed and it is good. Healing begins as you discover that goodness and how it can transform the pain and sorrow into a powerful story of flourishing. Hope is real, so lets walk together and find it.

My name is Aaron Hartman and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and I am trained in trauma care, interpersonal processing, and EMDR. I hold a masters degree in Mental Health Counseling and I went to school at Divine Mercy University where I have been specially trained in integrating the Catholic Christian vision of the person into the practice of psychotherapy. This allows me to see how to help people flourish as they were made to and provide personalized guidance tailored to each person's unique needs.

I believe there is power in the therapeutic alliance as an especially potent tool for healing; collaboration and empowerment of the individual is my focus. By fostering this therapeutic alliance through trust, I help clients begin to uncover their strengths, heal from past wounds, and develop practical strategies to overcome current obstacles.

I am disciple of Jesus, a husband who's in love with his wife of five years and some day we have the hope of adopting children to grow our family. My favorite places are a quite church sanctuary in the morning, a beautiful sunny lit park, and being at home reading something very nerdy or funny. I am proudly an Arizona native and have lived in this desert my whole life.
