Welcome! My goal as a counselor is to create a safe, supportive environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
I have a Master’s degree in Addiction Counseling at Grand Canyon University. I have particular interests in addiction recovery, relapse prevention, and helping individuals develop healthier coping skills.
I am certified in the SABR Group Therapy Program which is a sexual addiction and betrayal recovery program.
Prior to entering the counseling field, I spent approximately 10 years working in juvenile corrections and probation, where I gained experience working with youth and families facing behavioral, legal, and substance-related challenges.
Outside of counseling, I am a husband of twenty years to my wife and father of three children. My family is an important part of my life, and I enjoy spending time with them and being involved in their lives.
My personal experiences have also given me a strong appreciation for faith, recovery, personal growth, and second chances. I believe people are capable of meaningful change, and I value opportunities to encourage others as they work through difficult seasons of life.
